About this role:
Messina Group is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support the integrated Sales & Marketing process of our growing Private Equity Consulting and Talent Acquisition practices. You will report directly to the VP of Business Development and Marketing and will support our Sales organization at all stages of the Sales and Marketing life cycle. You will help the organization drive revenue faster by leveraging and optimizing our best-of-breed Sales and Marketing technology stacks. You will also work independently to generate new Marketing Qualified Leads through direct outreach campaigns.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring Sales organization objectives are assigned and achieved in a timely manner
- Working closely and proactively with Sales management to inspect Sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement, facilitating continuous process improvement
- Monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the Sales organization, recommending revisions, and assisting in the development of new reporting tools as needed
- Implementing Sales and Marketing enabling technologies, working closely with Sales Management to optimize the effectiveness of Messina’s technology investments
- Identifying and assisting in evaluating new technologies and platforms that add value to Messina’s technology stack
- Coordinating and delivering training to Messina’s Sales, Sales management, and Marketing personnel
- Generating Marketing qualified leads (“MQLs”) for our Business Development teams by leveraging Sales & Marketing enablement tools and platforms to create brand awareness, generate content, and increase client engagement using our website, social media and other means

- Technical–Must be an experienced user of various Sales enablement platforms – HubSpot, Salesloft or Outreach, Salesforce preferred

- Confidence – Must present self in a humble yet capable manner and tackle tasks with confidence, particularly during times of increased pressure
Requirements:
- BS/BA required
- 1-2 years of Sales Operations or related work experience
- Understanding of the sales lifecycle
- A desire to learn the nuances of a complex industry, to seek out that information on your own, and to proactively ask questions
