Messina is searching for a Senior Marketing Specialist for our client in Lincolnshire, IL.

Position Summary

The Senior Marketing Specialist will become an expert on the company’s marketing initiatives, marketing software platforms and assist with managing the contract manufactured product lines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development/implementation of comprehensive marketing plans
  • Planning and developing digital marketing campaigns including web, email and social media
  • Managing Salesforce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo software and provide reporting
  • Creating and executing fresh, effective online marketing campaigns and evaluating the results
  • Analyze, understand, and report on product line performance. Recommend product line enhancements and/or adjustments
  • Develop and maintain product literature
  • Develop and maintain product specifications
  • Maintain, update and monitor company website content and performance
  • Implement successful new product launches
  • Offer Marketing input to cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, etc.)
  • Other projects as assigned

Position Functions

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans, including:
    • Market analysis of managed products and competition's products and strategies
    • Perform SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) on product portfolio
    • Measure and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns
    • Define strategies and tactics to accelerate growth and achieve profitability goals
  • New Products, Product Improvements, Line Extensions:
    • Analyze, report on, and understand customer and market needs via effective market research and translate that research into new products, product improvements, or line extensions
    • Develop and implement integrated product launch by channel
    • Develop training materials for internal and field personnel
    • Evaluate field (customer and sales) feedback for product enhancements that meet customer’s product functional requirements
  • Planning
    • Develop and champion annual and strategic planning process
    • Prepare product forecasts to include revenue and profit expectations, including assessing competitive pricing
    • Support forecasts and budgets with appropriately detailed Marketing Plans
  • Support Activity
    • Communicate effectively, and on a regular basis, with field personnel
    • Respond, within 24 hours, to any customer or field sales request
    • Educate field sales and customer service personnel as needed
    • Be go-to expert across entire product line
