Messina Group seeks a Small Batch Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity for our client, an innovative coatings company, in Milwaukee, WI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce product according to batch ticket specifications
- Mix, tint and prepare samples for Quality Control
- Fill containers with product according to specifications
- Maintain a clean work area
- As part of the housekeeping procedures, the employee may be involved with the disposal of hazardous waste. The initial training of how to properly dispose of hazardous waste will be performed by the Environmental and Safety Coordinator or the department supervisor.
- Annual training of the same will be performed by the Environmental and Safety Coordinator.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

- Preferred education level: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred experience level: One year or more of experience with coatings production
- Forklift certification strongly preferred
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills
