The Strategic Communications Specialist reports to the Manager – Strategic Communications as part of the Sales Enablement group.  The position is largely responsible for integrated content marketing intended to pique customers’ interest, introduce them to our unique products and capabilities, and guide them through complex B2B buying journeys.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Develops marketing communications plans in collaboration with supervisors, product management, business development, and regional business units
•    Develops content plans and brainstorms creative tactics to support strategies
•    Sets goals for campaigns, as well as tracks, measures, and summarizes their effectiveness
•    Applies knowledge of customer challenges and unique differentiators to develop content
•    Executes content for various channels (e.g., web, print, social) to pique customers’ interest and guide them through complex B2B buying (e.g., webpages, infographics, blogs)
•    Works with subject-matter experts to create copy and visuals that simply explain complex ideas
•    Practices strong project management to see projects through completion while building relationships with Creative Services, Editorial teams, and outside vendors 
•    Commits to understanding the power industry and solutions
